A special meeting of the Town Council of the Town of Tuk-
wila was held in the Town Hall on the above date at 8:00 p. m. Those
present were Mayor John R. Walkup and Councilmen Philip Koenig, J. C.
Wickman and Joseph Ton.
The Mayor announced that the purpose of the meeting was
to consider the final report of the engineer and to hear a proposal
of settlement from the contractor,. it. Del Guzzo.
It was moved, seconded and carried that the Council go
an record as opposed to paying $1175.00 in claims to the contractor.
It was moved, seconded and carried that the proposal of
the contractor, A. Del Guzzo to accept $1000."0 as a full and fitaiL
settlement be accepted.
It was moved, seconded and carried that as many pipe camp
connections as might be needed be bought from the contractor, A. Del
Guzzo at the market price for use in the Town water system.
The Clerk was instructed to get a letter of acceptance
on the settlement from the contrabtor.
The council ball relating to the appointment of the super-
intendent of water was taken from the table and the Mayor declared
that inasmuch as the bill was not in accord with the State law that
it was null and void.
A council bill relating to the creation of the office of
water superintendent was read by the Clerk. It was read a second
time by title. It was moved, seconded and carried that the bill be
placed on its third reading and final passage. Roll call was follows:

The bill became Ordinance No. 129 of the Town of Tukwila.
Tt was moved, seconded and carried that two pressure re-
ducing valves be installed in the distributing system in accordance
with the advice of the engineer, same to cost installed not over
$8MM.00.
No further business appearing the Council by motion ad-
journed at 9:35 p. m.
