Tukwila, March 6, 1930
The regular meeting of the Town Council of the Town of Tukwila
was held in the Town Hall on the above date at 8:00 p. m. Those pre-
sent were Councilmen Philip Koenig who was elected Mayor pro tem in
the absence of Mayor John R. Walkup, J. C. Wickman, J. B. Heemink,
S. H. Stevens and Joseoh Ton.
The minutes as weal as other records being in the hands of the
State Examiner were laid over until the next regular meeting.

After a brief recess called by the Mayor pro tem for the audit-
ing of the bills the Council was called to order to hear the report
of the finance committee. The chairman of the finance committee
reported that all the bills had been 8.p-roved o^ pres â– rated. Council-
man Stevens wished the records to show that he objected to the pay-
ment of the claim of the Seattle Water Department. A motion that
alI the bills be allowed as presented and that warrants be drawn for
their respective amounts was made, seconded and carried.
The Treasurer reported that he was unable to make a financial
report as the State Examiner had his records. The Clerk reported
that the recording of the easements would be about $25.00. The Clerk
was instructed to have the easementb recorded.
The Treasurer made a request for an increase in salary for the
next term. A motion that the matter be laid on the table until the
next regular meeting was made, seconded and carried.
Caspar Lee reported that he thot the lean -to garage in the front
of the Breedlove place was a serious fire hazard. He said that he
would move it without cost to the owners if they did not object.
The Clerk was instructed to write the owners regarding the matter.
The matter of furnishing water to the Thorndyke district came
March 6th cont.
up and the Clerk was instructed to write them making the same offer
as was made to the Foster Water District.
The Clerk was instructed to look in the files for a deed from
H. 0. Blankenship to the Town of Tukwila for a pantion of lot 1,
block 18 Hillman's Seattle Garden Tracts.

No further business appearing the Council was adjourned at 9 :30
