HomeMy WebLinkAbout1930-05-01 Regular Minutes Tukwila, May 1, 1930 The regular meeting of the 'Town Council of the Tors. of Tukwila was held in the Town Hall on the a2bDve date at 8:00 p. m. Those present were Mayor John R. Walkup and Councilmen Philip Koenig, J. C. Wickman, J. B. Heemink and S. H. STevens. Bergquist 55.09 After a brief recess called by the Mayor for the audit— ing of the bills the Council was called to order to hear the re— port of the finance committee. The chairman of the finance com— mittee reported that all the bills had been approved as presented except that of Mrs. K. Bergquist. He recommended that an inquiry regarding the bill be directed to the head of the Division of Municipal Corporations. It was moved, seconded and carried that the report of the finance committee be accepted and that warrants be drawn for the bills as approved by the finance committee. COh.WUNICATIONS The Treasurer's financial report was read bar the Clerk. It was ordered filed. The report of the Superintendent of Water was read by the Clerk and filed. It was moved, seconded and car— ried that the quantity of two inch pipe be sold for $25.00 It was moved, seconder and carried that the Water Superintendent sell to the Crane Co. an5l material on hand in excess of the needs of t.k^ water department. A letter from `Thorts Denny was read-by the Clerk. It was moved, seconded and carried that the report of the State Examiners be laid by until the next regular meeting. The Clerk was instructed to write to Mrs. Christine Thorgrimson about cleLning up her property and put— ting it in a presentable condition.
