MINUTES
SPECIAL MEETING
CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Ekberg called the Special meeting of the Tukwila City Council to order at 8:48 p.m.
ROLL CALL
Melissa Hart, Deputy City Clerk, called the roll of the Council. Present were Councilmembers Joe Duffie,
Dennis Robertson, Verna Seal, Kathy Hougardy, Kate Kruller, and Thomas McLeod.
MOVED BY DUFFIE, SECONDED BY SEAL TO EXCUSE COUNCILMEMBER QUINN FROM THE
MEETING. MOTION CARRIED 6 -0.
CITY OFFICIALS
Allan Ekberg, Mayor; David Cline, City Administrator; Chris Flores, Interim Fire Chief; Derek Speck,
Economic Development Administrator; Laurel Humphrey, Council Analyst; Melissa Hart, Deputy City
Clerk.
EXECUTIVE SESSION — To consider the minimum price at which real estate will be offered for sale
pursuant to RCW 42.30.110(1)(c) - (not to exceed 30 minutes)
Mayor Ekberg announced the Council will now go into Executive Session to consider the minimum price
at which real estate will be offered for sale — Pursuant to RCW 42.30.110(1)(c). It will last no more than
30 minutes, and no decisions will be made during the Executive Session. We will now have a 5- minute
recess to clear the Council Chambers.
Members of the public exited the Council Chambers.
Executive Session start: 8:53 p.m.
Attendees: Allan Ekberg, Mayor; David Cline, City Administrator; Derek Speck, Economic Development
Administrator; Tukwila City Councilmembers Joe Duffie, Dennis Robertson, Verna Seal, Kathy Hougardy,
Kate Kruller, and Thomas McLeod.
Executive Session End: 9:23 p.m.
9:23 p.m. Mayor Ekberg reconvened the Special Meeting.
ADJOURNMENT
9:24 p.m. THERE WAS UNANIMOUS CONSENT TO ADJOURN THE MEETING.
