SPECIAL MEETING
April 20, 2015

Meeting was called to order at 9:40 a.m.
SPECIAL MEETING
The purpose of this Special Meeting was to discuss a Grant Application from the Tukwila School
District, requesting $550 for interpretive services for parents of students attending a Parent
College and Career Day for Families on April 23, 2015. Commissioners were sent a copy of the
Grant Request for their review and consideration the previous week.
A motion was made by Melissa Hart that the Equity and Diversity Commission members
approve the April 15, 2015 Grant Application from the Tukwila School District in the amount of
$550, to be used for interpretive services for parents for students attending the Parent College
and Career Day for Families on Thursday, April 23, 2015.
Motion was seconded by Crystal Sweet.
UNANIMOUS APPROVAL
Joyce will work with the School District and Finance Department to provide the funds for this
grant.
Meeting was adjourned, 9:50 a.m.
