The regular meeting of the Town Council of the Town of Tukwila
was held in the Town Hall on the above date at 8:00 p. m. Those
present were Mayor John R. Walkup and Councilmen Philip Koenig,
J. C. Wickman, E. F. Greene, J. R. Curnmin and B. E. Ea er.
The minutes of the last regular meeting were read by the Clerk and
were approved as read.

After a brief recess called by the *lay Jr for the auditing of
the bills the Council vas called to order to hear the report of the
finance committee. The chairman of the finance committee reported
that all the bills had been approved as presented. A motion
that all the bills be allowed as recommended by the finance com—
mittee and warrants drawn for their respective amounts was made,
seconded and carried.

The Treasurer's monthly financial report was read by the Clerk
and was ordered filed. The report of the Superintendent of Water
was read by the Clerk. A letter from the former treasurer, u. 0.
BARilquist, was read by the Clerk. The Clerk was instructed to write
to the Attorney General regarding the matter of collecting ,;,55.09
from the former treasurer.

The matter of the 1931 budget come un end was discussed. The
Clerk was instructed to draw up a tentative budget in accordance
with the expressed wishes of the Council. G. W. iallenberg report—
ed that the blackberries were overgrowing Maule Ave. The matter
was referred to the Street committee. It was also reported that
the blackberries and other growth on lots 6 and 7, block 11, were
becoming a menace. It was moved, seconded and carried that the
street committee take such steps as might be necessary to abate the
nuisance.
The Council adjourned at 9:15 p. m.
