was held in the Town Hall on the above date at 8:00 p m. Those
present were Mayor John R. vyalkup and Councilmen Philip Koenig,
J. A. tickman,: E. r. ureene and B. Baker.
The minutes of the last regular meeting were read by the Clerk
and were approved as read.

After a brief recess called by t "e :�:w _Th? the auditing of
the kills the Council was called to order to hear the report of the
finance committee. The chairman of the finance committee re
that all the bills had been approved as presented. motion that
all the bills be allowed as recommedded by the finance committee
and warrants drawn for their respective amounts was made, seconded
and carried.
The Treasurer's monthly financial report was read by the Clerk
and was filed by order of the Mayor. The report of the Superin—
tendent of Water was read by the Clerk.
The matter of collecting 05.09 from the former treasurer,
G. C. Bergquist, came up for a final decision. The Clerk and the
chairman of the finance committee, Philip Koenig, were instructed
to consult the prosecuting attorney regarding the matter.
A council bail relating to the granting of a faanchise for
laying gaol mains etc. in the corporate limits of the Town of Tuk—
wila to the Seattle Gas Co. was introduced by Councilman E. F. Greene
at the request of James F. Pollard, general manager of the Seattle
October 2 1930 cont.
Gas Co. and was read by the Clerk. ft motion that the bill be ac.a
cepted subjdct to the stating of a definite time of beginning con—
struction and placed on its first reading was made, seconded
and carried.
No further business appearing the Council adjourned at 0:30
p. m. at which time the Mayor announced that the hearing on the
proposed budget would be held in the Town Hall on Monday, October
6, 1930.

Tukwila, October 6th, 1930
A. special meeting of the Town Council of the Town of Tukwila
was held in the Town Hall on the above date at 10 :00 a. m. to
hear_ protests if any on the proposed budget for the ensuing year.
Those present were Mayor John R. Walkup and Councilman Phillip
Koenig, J. C. Wickman and B. E. Baker.
Nb protests being offered the budget bill was read by the
Clerk. It was read a second time by title. A motion that the bill
be placed on its final,cpassage was made, seconded and carried un—
animously on roll call. It became ordinance No. 134.
