The Work Session consisted of a presentation and discussions regarding Washington State's Department of
Ecology required and recommended changes to the City of Tukwila's adopted Shoreline Master Program
(SMP).
The Shoreline Master Program regulates the area 200 feet from the ordinary high water mark through the City
and potential annexation areas.
At the end of the meeting, it was determined that the SMP will move forward to a future Committee of the
Whole for discussion and public hearing, as appropriate.
