Minutes
Attendance: Linda McLeod, Steve Miller, Marie Parrish, Shannon Fisher
Call to Order: 7:05 pm by Marie Parrish
Approval of minutes: Steve Miller moved to approve the November, 2015 minutes, Linda
McLeod seconded and motion passed.
Citizen Comments: None
Business:
a. 2016 Budget —After some discussion, Steve Miller moved to accept the
budget, seconded by Linda McLeod. Motion passed.
b. Dr. Seuss update — There will be soup for dinner and free transportation.
Linda will be available to attend to help with passing out the books.
Library update: Due to a family emergency, there is no KCLS report tonight.
Other:
1. Marie brought up the idea of doing literacy nights in the new library possibly
hosted by ethinic different communities in our city. To be discussed later.
2. Shannon brought up new officers. Tabled to next meeting.
3. Could we meet at the Library as opposed to TCC? To be discussed at next
meeting.
Next meeting: March 1, 2016, 7:OOpm at Tukwila Community Center
Adjournment: Linda made a motion to adjourn, Steve seconded it and it passed.
