A special meeting of the Town Council of the Town of Tukwila was held in the Town Hall on the above date at 8:00 p. m. to dis- cuss the settlement of claims of Puget Well Drilling Company against Town of Tukwila. Those present were Mayor John R. Walkup and Councilman Philip Koenig, B. E. Baker, J. R. Cumming, J. C. Wickman and E. F. Greene. Councilman Greene Stated that the Clerk and himself had in- formed the Town Attorney to accept offer of Puget Well Drilling Company for settlement of claim against the Town Of Tukwila. A letter was read by the Clerk from Clinton Hartsan, town attorney, saying all claims of Puget Well Drilling Company would be settled on payment of $400.00. A motion was made seconded and carried instructing the Clerk to draw a warrant for $400.00 to be paid Hartge Cadwallader, attorneys for Puget Well Drilling Co. by Clinton Hartebn, town attorney, on delivery of release from any and all claims the Puget Well Drilling Company might have a- gainst the town of Tukwila.
