March 5, 1,31 The regular meeting of the Town Council of the Town Of Tukwila was held in the Town Hall on the above date at 8:00 P.M. Those present were Mayor John R. Walkup and Councilmen Philip Koenig, B.E. Baker, J.C. Wickman,and E. F. Green. The minutes of the last regular meriting were read by the Clerk and approved. 148.05 129.00 After a brief recess called by the Mayor for the auditing of the bills the Council was called to order to hear the report of the finance committee. The chairtran of the finance committee reported that all the bills had been abtreirtdaas presented. A motion that all the bibs be allowed as recommended by the finance committee and warrants be drawn for their respective amounts was made.seconded and carried. The Treasurer's monthly financial report was read by the clerk and ordered filed.The report of the Water Supt. was read.and ordered filed. Aletter from the Citizens Party was read. A letter from Mr. Hughes regarding the Blankenship matter was read by the clerk. It was moved ,seconded and carried the Treasurer to revise the assessment roll as directed by Mr. Hughes; The clerk was ordered to propels a resolution authottakft same. OLD BUSINESS None The report of the Finance eommitte regarding the Blankenship matter was read and ordered filed. It was moved ,seconded and carried that the contract between H. O. Blankenship and the Town of Tukwila would not be read. March 5, 1931 Continued. The Clerk was instructed to communicate with the Receiver of the Puget Sound Electric R.R. regarding the cutting and burning of brush on the Rightof way where it interfered with a clear vision at street crossings. NEW BUSINESS The viaduct on lower Main St. was discussed to some length and It was moved ,seconded and carried that same be condemned. The condition of the side walks on Main St. was discussed,also the the viaduct on Tukwila Ave. A cabinet for the Town Records was mentioned and the clerk was instructed to get information on the subject. No other business appearing,lttw&eumoved ,seconded and carried the Council adjourn. Time 9.40 P.M. Approved
