HomeMy WebLinkAbout1931-06-04 Regular MinutesThe regular meeting of the Town Council of the Town of Tukwila was held in the Town Hall on the above date at 8:00 P.M. Those present were Mayor John R. Waikup and Councilmen B.E.Baker, J.C. Wickman, J. R. Cumming and E. F. Green. The minutes ofthe last regular meeting were read by the Clerk and approved. 1 B ;LLS Current expense fund: B. A. Walkup After a brief recess called by the Mayor for the auditing of the bills the council was called to order to hear the retort of the finance committee. The chairman of the finance committee reported that all the bills had been approved as presented. A Motion that all the bills be allowed as yeeemanded by the finance committee and that warrants be drawn for their respective amounts was made, seconded and carried. COMMUNICATIONS OLD BUSINESS Hall Rent 2.50 Treasurer's Pay 6. Light Co. Lighting 42.50 Clerks Pay 10.00 Clerks Expense -5.25 Water Supt Pay Tukwila, June4, 1931. 66.50 96.00 30.00 126.00 The Treasurer's monthly financial report was read by the Clerk and approved. The report of the Water Supt. was read and approved' Ordinance #136 revising section 24 ordinance 128 Ordinances of the Town of Tukwila.was introducedby Councilman Green ,and was read by the Clerk. A motion that the Ordinance be placed on its first reading was made seconded and carried. Ordinance was read a second time by title only. It was moved seconded and carried that the Ordinance be placed on its final reading and passage.
