COMMUNICATIONS CENTER A NATIONALLY ACCREDITED COMMUNICATIONS CENTER
Public Notice
Valley Communications Center is scheduled for an on -site assessment as part of a
program to maintain accreditation by verifying it continuously meets professional standards.
Administered by the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies, Inc. (CALEA), the
accreditation program requires agencies to comply with state -of- the -art standards in the areas of policy and
procedures, administration and operations.
As part of the on -site assessment, agency employees and members of the community are invited to offer
comments by calling (253) 372 -1540 on Monday, July 25, 2016 between the hours of 1:00 PM and 3:00 PM.
Comments will be taken by the assessment team.
Telephone comments are limited to 10 minutes and must address the agency's ability to comply with
CALEA's standards. A copy of the standards is available at Valley Communications Center. Local contact is Mary

Anyone wishing to submit written comments about Valley Communications Center's ability to comply with
