The first regular meeting of the Town Council of the Town of
Tukwila was held in the Town Hail on the above date at 8.45 P. M.
Those present were the newly and qualified Mayor John R.
Walkup and the newly eleoted andngiiefied Councilmen August Thies
and J. S. Storey and Councilmen B.E. Baker, J. R. Cumming and E.
F. Green. The newly elected and Qualified Town Treasurer J. M. Hall
was also present.
The Mayor on behalf of the citizens of Tukwila thanked the
retiring councilmen forCtheiekfaithful service.
As the next order of business the Mayor annonneed the follow-
ing ormmittees;
Building Thies, Cumming Baker.
Elections Storey Green Cumming
Finance Cumming Green Baker
Health Sanitation Baker Thies Green
Laws Ordinances Green Storey Cumming
Light Thies Baker Green
Public Welfare Charity Storey Cumming Baker
Schools Cumming been Meta
Streets alleys Baker Thies Storey
Ways Means Green aBakerteummingrftles Storey
Water Green Baker Thies
And also the following appointments:
Town Clerk J. P. Walkup
Town Marshal F. Henke
