The regular monthly mectink of the Town Council of the Town
of Tukwila was held in the Town Hall on The above date at 8.00
P.Y. Those present were Mayor Jphn R, Walkup and Councilmen B.
F. Baker,J.R.Cumming, E. W. Green. J.S. Storey and August Thies.
The minutes of th last regular meeting were read by the Clerk
and approved.

After a brief recess called by the Mayor for the auditing of
the bills the council was called to order to hear the report of
the finance committee. The chairman of the finance committee report-
ed that all the bills had be_n approved as presented. A Motion
that all the bills be allowed as recomended by the finance committe
and that warrants be drawn for their respective amounts was made
seconded and carried.
The treasurer's monthly financial report was read by the clerk
and approved. The report of the Water Supt. was read. A lettet from
the Division of Municipal Corporations was read by the clerk.
A Motion was made seconded and carried improving the bondesof the
Treasurer and Clerk.

NEW BUSINESS
The dlerk was instructed to get permission from the Puget Sound
Power and Light Co. to use a portion of the right of way to widen
the crossing between First and Second ave.
The Council went on record as being in favor of the proposed
improvement by the county at the foot of Main St. The Clerk was
instructed Me inform the County Commissioners of the action.
A Motion was made seconded and carried instructing the Clerk
to purchase Wire,Stamp4 ,Envelopes and a new Journal.
