On the above time and date, officers responded to a report of a body floating in the
Duwamish River near the 14000 block of Interurban Ave S. Officers discovered the
body to be deceased, and appears to have been in the water for some time. They are
unable to identify the person at this time, other than the deceased appears to be an
adult male. The circumstances and cause of death cannot yet be determined.
Tukwila Police and Fire recovered the body from the river and was transported to the
King County Medical Examiner's Office. Tukwila Police Detectives are on scene, and
will continue the investigation.
