Question: In reference to bombing in France, what is TPD doing to prevent
similar issues? There is a protocol to identify if there are any local connections
to the event and use that to identify potential targets. We are also connect with
the FBI and Counter - terrorism Task Force and get warnings from them as well.
Another concern is about a "lone wolf' type attacker, who is totally off the
radar.

• Fourth of July went well for the police. This year there was a team out
consisting of PD and FD July 1, 2, 3 and 4 to just do fireworks enforcement.
This year people seemed to stop lighting off fireworks earlier in the night.
There were no house fires, just a brush fire at Interurban and Grady Way.
• Big event at Boeing this weekend. Many officers will assist with this, paid for
by Boeing.
• Terry is here to learn. He owns an apartment building in the nc
