On 08/10/16 at approximately 2058 hours police and medics were dispatched to a
residence near the intersection of South 140th and Military Road South for a report of a
gunshot victim in a resident's backyard. Officers arrived and located a 34 year -old male
with a serious gunshot wound. The male was transported to Harborview Medical Center
where he is in serious but stable condition.
The male appears to have been shot approximately a block from where he collapsed.
The suspect or suspects remain at -large at this time but are believed to have fled from
the area. The Tukwila Police Department Major Crimes Unit is at the scene and the
investigation is on- going. Detectives do not believe that this was a random act and they
are following up on information from the crime scene.
