Reference is made to the.Tri -cor Rental Space at the Fostoria Park, Tukwila and
the ventilating requirements in connection herewith:
We have now completely installed an exhaust fan in the ceiling of the warehouse
space where the various trucks are parked. This fan with a capacity of approxi-
mately 3,000 CFM against the pressure drop which is represented by the building.
For air intake purposes we have also installed a air intake opening on the roof
with a duct leading down to a point approximately 2 feet off the floor. This
duct is also sized to carry the above mentioned air volumes.
With the fan energized through a wall mounted switch, the air now travels from
the roof, down the intake duct, along the floor where the truck exhaust pipes
are present and then up to the ceiling and out through the roof mounted fan.
Thecapacities shown above are in accordance with the mechanical code require-
ments'for this type of a building.
