The roof deck is solid and firmly in place. 3.) The roof drains are cricketed and placed in the proper areas. The installation of new additional drain overflows will be done. 4.) The existing roof is mechanically attached to the decking with screws and plates. 5.) The existing insulation is not water soaked but shows a few signs of moisture. B. Follow Duro =Last, Inc.'s instructions, cautions, warnings and procedures. 1 Roofing system shall not be applied when weather conditions are not within the range acceptable under Duro - Last's recommendations. 2.0 PRODUCT A. Roof Membrane 1, Metnbrane components to be products of Duro -Last Roofing, Inc. Insulation Board insulation shalt be the minimum by Duro -Last Roofing, Inc. for the system proposed and issuance of the warranty. 3.0 EXECUTION A. Substrate Inspection 1. Inspect all surfaces to receive roofing for any condition that will adversely affect execution, performances or quality of work. 2. All roof surfaces and all sloped surfaces to drains and outleu shall be checked and approved by the rooting contractor prior to the start of the roofing work. 3. Install roofing material only under satisfactory conditions as specified by the membrane manufacturer. D. General Requirements 1. Precautions a. Do not lay out or expose any insulation on the deck that cannot be covered by membrane on the same day. b. In making all field heat welds, make sure all edges are clean and five of tar, mastic or other foreign items. c. Do nor expose membrane and accessories to a constant temperature in excess of 110 degrees Fahrenheit. d. SuaIRntI and adhesives should be applied according to Duro•Last, Inc.'N specifications. e. Start securing the membrane at the highest point and work towards the drains. 2. Protection of Roofing Surfaces Storing, wheeling, or trucking directly on roof insulation or membrane surfstce is not recommended, Smooth, clean plywood or plank walkways, runways and plattorms shall be provided as necessary. C. Insulation Installation The root' insulation shall be installed with approved fasteners and distribution plates placed according to the manufacturer's most recent published specifications for the use under the Duro•Last roofing system and for issuance of the warranty. D. 1Vlembruuo installation Install the roofing system to Duro•Last, Ino,'s most recent published specifications, E. Inspection & Warranty after the installation is complete, a Duro•Last Quality Assurance Specialist shall inspect the visible details of the roofing system for acceptability for warranty issuance,.
