The beams in the south center area were not all completed and will be inspected on a later date. The contractor has completed with importing of 1 W minus recycled concrete material approximately 4' in a square area of 40'x50' south of loading dock bays 1-4. The material was found compacted to a firm and unyielding state although some localized coarse areas were observed. MTE Inspector also noted low moisture content, surface of fill material. Obtained in place density tests using a Troxier nuclear density gauge with all tests meeting the 95% compaction requirement, See attached MTE Field Density Test Report for location and compaction results. MTE Inspector also performed a preliminary soil bearing inspection on the new truck ramp footing east from loading dock bay #1. Sprinkler protection shall be extended to all areas where required, including all enclosed areas, below obstructions and under overhangs greater than four feet wide. (NFPA 13- 4- 5.5.3.1) All new sprinkler systems and all modifications to existing sprinkler systems shall have fire department review and approval of drawings prior to installation or modification. New sprinkler systems and all modifications to sprinkler systems involving more than 50 heads shall have the written approval of the W.S.R.B., Factory Mutual, industrial Risk Insurers, Kemper or any other representative designated and /or recognized by The City of Tukwila, prior to submittal to the Tukwila Fire Prevention Bureau.
