Scope of Work
The work involves the disassembly of a 24' wide by 60' long mobile office trailer and
transporting of same, in two pieces 12' x 60' to The Boeing Company, East Marginal
Corporate Park at 3417 S. 120`x' Place, Building 21 -04, Tukwila. This trailer will be
located inside the Building 21 -04 at the southeast portion of the building. The electrical
and fire protection permits will be obtained by the specialty subcontractors responsible
for that work. The HVAC is a package unit standard with the trailer and no plumbing is
required.
Stair and handicap ramp construction will be performed after the trailer move, of which
copies of the drawings are attached.
The actual move permit request (H -9) will be made by the move subcontractor.

Stairway, Ramp Egress Construction
Where posts on decks and ramps are shown as cemented in, given these posts will be
mounted on concrete, installer will be using Simpson brackets and powernailer /expansion
bolted to the bearing surface.
The landing shown is for a double door entry (5'x 12'), the landing that will be
constructed will be 6'x 6' with 4' steps. The overall construction will be the same.

My analysis and the physical test reports define the breaking
strength of each of these anchors and their comp'onents to be in
excess of 5,000 pounds. The strapping meets Federal Specification
QQ- S -781H for Type I, Class B, Grade 1 strapping' The strapping
also meets with ANSI 225.1 standards and ASTM D 3953 -91 standards.
The strapping is 1 1/4 X .035 minimum, hot dip galvanized steel.
On file are testing reports of the direct withdrawal strength of
these anchors. These tests evaluate the 3nchor;age strength of
Minute Man Anchors installed resisting an axial and 45 degree angle
applied withdrawal load. For the anchors listed on the attached
sheet, the average ultimate holding power is not :less than 5,433
pounds when installed in accordance with manufacturer instructions
in the-soil types indicated in the "table".

Dear Sir:
The attached set of building plans have been reviewed by
The Fire Prevention Bureau and are acceptable with the
following concerns:
1. The total number of fire extinguishers required for
your establishment is calculated at one extinguisher for
each 3000 sq. ft. of area. The extinguisher(s) should be
of the "All Purpose" (2A, 10B:C) dry chemical type. Travel
distance to any fire extinguisher must be 75' or less.
(NFPA 10, 3 -1.1)
Maintain fire extinguisher coverage throughout.
2. Exit doors shall be openable from the inside without
the use of a key or any special knowledge or effort. Exit
doors shall not be locked, chained, bolted, barred, latched
or otherwise rendered unusable. All locking devices shall
be of an approved type. (UFC 1207.3)
3. When two or more exits from a story are required and
when two or more exits from a room or an area are required
by U.B.C. Section 3303, exit signs shall be illuminated.
(UBC 1013.3)
4. Sprinkler protection shall be extended to all areas
where required, including all enclosed areas, below
obstructions and under overhangs greater than four feet
wide. (NFPA 13 -4- 4.1.3.2.1)
All new sprinkler systems and all modifications to
existing sprinkler systems shall have fire department

review and approval of drawings prior to installation
or modification. New sprinkler systems and all
modifications to sprinkler systems involving more than
50 heads shall have the written approval of the
W.S.R.B., Factory Mutual, Industrial Risk Insurers,
Kemper or any other representative designated and /or
recognized by The City of Tukwila, prior to submittal
to the Tukwila Fire Prevention Bureau. No sprinkler
work shall commence without approved drawings. (City
Ordinance #1742)
All sprinkler system plans, calculations and the
contractors Materials and Test Certificates submitted
to The Tukwila Fire Prevention Bureau must be stamped
with the appropriate level of competency seal. (WAC
212 -80)
5. All electrical work and equipment shall conform
strictly to the standards of The National Electrical Code.
(NFPA 70)
6. H.V.A.C. units rated at greater than 2,000 cfm require
auto - shutdown devices. These devices shall be separately
zoned in the alarm panel and local U.L. central station
supervision is required. (City Ordinance #1742)
All new fire alarm systems or modifications to
existing systems shall have the written approval of
The Tukwila Fire Prevention Bureau. No work shall
commence until a fire department permit has been
obtained. (City Ordinance #1742) (UFC 1001.3)
Contact The Tukwila Fire Prevention Bureau to witness all
required inspections and tests. (UFC 10.503) (City
Ordinance #1742)

special fire permits may be necessary depending on detailed
description of intended use.
