The following is a procedural outline of what our quotation includes. First, the existing roofing and associated sheet metal items will be removed and disposed of off site at an approved facility. The plywood deck will be swept broom clean and inspected or delamination. Should we find any decking that would require replacement this will be handled on a "time and materials" basis. You or your representative will be notified for approval of any decking requiring replacement prior to starting replacement. A layer of red rosin paper and 3/4" perlite roof insulation will be mechanically fastened to the plywood deck. Two plies of type four fiberglass felt will each be embedded into uniform moppings of hot asphalt. Upon this a layer of granular surfaced mineral cap sheet will be installed. All flashing of curbs, boxes and parapet walls will be accomplished with two .aaye.rs.. of. -tpe four,.. ply and one_ pl,y of mineral cap_sheet., each set in hot asphalt and fastened to the new wood nailer at the top of the parapet walls.
