Inspection and testing performed as follows: I inspected the reinforcing steel for the oil -water separator walls and the wash basin walls between grids K.5 to L.2 and 18 to 20 +. Inspection of reinforcement steel placement was performed for the wash basin walls and found to be in accor- dance with the project plans S2WB. The reinforcing steel for the oil -water separator walls require adjustment of the steel for the two beams going north and south. Adjustment required to insure proper clearances between the bottom horizontal steel and ties. Also, several comer bars (top of wall) require adjusted to insure proper concrete cover. The remaining reinforcing steel is properly placed in accordance with S32B of the project plans. TMC 18.60.030 D. authorizes the Director to approve a change in project design if the change represents "minor, insignificant modifications which have no impact on the project design." I have reviewed the project plans for MI99 -0209 for the director and believe that the change represented is a minor, insignificant modification that will have no impact on the project design.
