IN THE MATTER OF SR 405, Green River Interchange.
KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS, that the STATE OF WASHINGTON, for and
in consideration of EXCHANGE OF REAL PROPERTY INTERESTS, hereby conveys and
quitclaims unto the CITY OF TUKWILA, a municipal corporation, all right, title, and
interest under the jurisdiction of the Department of Transportation, in and to the
following described real property situated in King County, State of Washington:
A parcel of land in Government Lots 8 and 10, Section 24, Township 23 North,
Range 4 East, W.M., being that part of the Y Line right of way and cul -de -sac
of SR 405, Green River Interchange (also known as Nelson Place in the City of
Tukwila), lying northerly of a line described as BEGINNING AT A POINT
opposite Highway Engineer's Station SR 181 142 +92.72 on the SR 181 Line
Survey of said highway and 147.89 feet northeasterly therefrom; thence South
88 East (shown as South 88 East in that certain Record of Survey
recorded in Volume 59 of Surveys, page 81, records of said county) to a point
on the southwesterly right of way line of the Puget Sound Electric Railway
Company and the end of this line description.
The specific details concerning all of which may be found on sheet 2 of that certain
plan entitled SR 405, Green River Interchange, now of record and on file in the office of
the Secretary of Transportation at Olympia, Washington, bearing date of approval
January 30, 1962.
The grantee as part consideration herein does hereby agree to comply with all civil
rights and anti discrimination requirements of RCW Chapter 49.60, as to the lands herein
described.
This conveyance is given for the purpose of releasing the above described land from
all right, title, and interest of the within named grantor in and to subject premises,
including all rights of reversion reserved by it in that certain deed recorded May 28, 1980,
under Auditor's File No. 8005280642, records of said county. Also, this instrument is
intended to correct the legal description contained in that certain Quitclaim Deed
recorded March 22, 1989, under Auditor's File No. 8903220930, records of said county.
The lands herein described are not required for State highway purposes and are
conveyed pursuant to the provisions of RCW Chapter 49.12.063.
