IN THE MATTER OF SR 405, Green River Interchange.
KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS, that the STATE OF WASHINGTON, for and
in consideration of EXCHANGE OF REAL PROPERTY INTERESTS, hereby conveys and
quitclaims unto the CITY OF TUKWILA, a Municipal Corporation, all right, title, and
interest under the jurisdiction of the Department of Transportation, in and to the
following described real property situated in King County, State of Washington:
That part of the Henry Meader D.L.C. No. 46 and that part of Government
Lot 8, all in Section 24, Township 23 North, Range 4 East, W.M., described as
BEGINNING AT A POINT opposite Highway Engineer's Station (hereinafter
M referred to as HES) SR 181 143 +53.57 on the SR 181 Line Survey of SR 405,
Green River Interchange, and 147.89 feet northeasterly therefrom; thence
N North 88 West to a point on a line drawn parallel with and 72 feet
N northeasterly, when measured at right angles, from said SR 181 Line Survey;
M thence northwesterly along said parallel line to a point which is North
C Q` 88 West from a point opposite HES SR 181 142 +92.72 on said SR 181
ca Line Survey and 147.89 feet northeasterly therefrom; thence South 88
East to a point on a line drawn parallel with and 20 feet southwesterly, when
measured at right angles and /or radially, from the Y Line Survey of said
highway; thence southeasterly along said parallel line to a point which is South
88 East from the point of beginning; thence North 88 West to
the POINT OF BEGINNING.
The grantee herein, its successors and assigns, agrees as a condition of this
conveyance that the above described property is to be used for public road purposes and
for purposes related thereto, and should any portion of those parts of said property that
were acquired by the State of Washington for a consideration derived from the state
motor vehicle fund be no longer used for public road purposes or such related purposes, all
rights in and to such a portion as herein conveyed shall become null and void, and title to
said portion shall immediately revert to and revest in the grantor herein.
The grantee herein, its successors or assigns, shall have no right of ingress and
egress to, from, and between the 156th Street connection to said SR 405 and the lands
abutting thereon westerly of a line drawn parallel with and 147.89 feet easterly of the
SR 181 Line Survey of said highway and will maintain the control of ingress and egress to,
from, and between the lands herein conveyed and the lands adjacent thereto, as indicated
by the prohibition of access symbol appearing on Exhibit "A," hereto attached, nor shall
the Grantee herein, its successors or assigns, be entitled to compensation for any loss of
light, view, and air occasioned by the location, construction, maintenance, or operation of

The specific details" concerning all of which may be found on sheet 2 of that certain
plan entitled SR 405, Green River Interchange, now of record and on file in the office of
the Secretary of Transportation at Olympia, Washington, bearing date of approval
January 30, 1962, revised November 28, 1988.
The grantee as part consideration herein does hereby agree to comply with all civil
rights and anti discrimination requirements of RCW Chapter 49.60, as to the lands herein
described.
The lands herein described are not required for State highway purposes and are
conveyed pursuant to the provisions of RCW Chapter 47.12.080.
