AN ORDINANCE OF THE TCnN OP TUKrtiILA AMENDING SECTION ONE
OF ORDINANCE NO. 306 OF THE TOWN or TUKW ILA
WHEREAS, heretofore, on the 5th day of July, 1960, Ordinance
No. 306 was adopted by the Council of the Town of Tukwila, which
said Ordinance annexed certain property to the town, and
WHEREAS, when said Ordinance was submitted to the King i:ounty
Commissioners it became apparent that a more accurate description
of the area annexed could be used, and whereas such new description
does not in any manner change the area annexed to the town but is
a correct and accurate description of the area as shown upon the
sketch attached to the petition for annexation;
NOW THEREFORE, EL IT ORDAINED by the Town Council of Tukwila,
as follows:
SECTION 1. That Section 1 of Ordinance %o. 306, reading as
follows:
"That pursuant the provisions of Chapter 123 of the session
Laws of the State of Washington for 1945 the following described
property, contiguous to the town limits of the Town of Tukwila,
to-wit:
Portions of Section 22, 26 and 27 in Township 23 N, Range
4, E.W.M., described as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the North line of South
158th Street with the Westerly line of 51st Avenue South; thence
Westerly along said North line 627.71' to the Westerly line of
E2 of SE- of SEA of Section 22; thence Southerly along said
Westerly line to the Southerly line of South 160th Street; thence
Easterly along said Southerly line to a point in said Southerly
line which is N 89 10" W 128.4' and S 0°15 E 30' from NE
corner of Section 27; thence S 0 E 145.20 thence S
39 °59'10" E 162.97' to oesterly line of 51st Avenue South; thence
Southerly along said Westerly line of 51st Avenue South to a
point 300 feet North of Southeast section 27; thence East along
the Easterly production of said south line to a point 300 feet
north of SW Section 26 of the Westerly limits of the Town of
Tukwila; thence Northerly, following the present Westerly limits
of the Town of Tukwila, ordinance No. 247, to the jortherly line
of the NW of Section 26; thence Westerly along said Northerly
line to NW corner of said NW-; t!ience North along the East line
of Section 22 to a point 30' East of point of beginning; thence
West 30' to the point of beginning;
shall be and the same hereby is annexed to the Town of Tukwila.
be and the same hereby is repealed and re- enacted as follows:
SECTIGN 1. That pursuant the provisions of Chapter 128 of the
Session Laws of the State of Washington for 1945 the following
described property contiguous to the town limits of the Town of
Tukwila, to -wit:
Portions of Sections 22, 26 and 27 in Township 23 N, Range 4,
EWM described as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the North margin of South
158th Street with the Westerly margin of 51st Avenue South;
thence Westerly along said North margin 627.71' to an inter-
section with the Westerly margin of Ez of SEz of SEL of said
Section 22; thence Southerly along said Westerly margin and
said Westerly margin Produced Southerly to the southerly margin
of South 160th Street; thence Easterly along said Southerly
margin of South 160th Street, to a point on said Southerly
margin of South 160th Street 9s '2.4' Westerly from the intersection
of the Westerly margin of 51st Avenue South; thence S 0
E 145.20'; thence Easterly parallel with the Southerly margin of
said South 160th Street 98.1' more or less to the tyesterly margin
of 51st avenue South; thence Southerly along said Westerly margin
of 51st Avenue South to a point on a line which is the Production
Westerly of the Southerly margin of lot 10, Block 2 of Mck,Iicken
Heights Dev. 1(unrecorded); thence Easterly along said Produced
line and said Southerly margin of lot 10 to the westerly limits
of the present Town of Tukwila, Ordinance f- 247; thence in a
Northerly direction, following the said Westerly limits to the
Northerly boundary of the NW- of Section 26; thence Westerly along
said Northerly boundary to the Northwest corner of said NW;
thence Northerly along Easterly boundary of Section 22 to a point
30' East of beginning; thence West 30 to the point of beginning;
shall be and the same hereby is annexed to the Town of Tukwila.
SECTION 11. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage, approval and legal publication as
provided by law.
