HomeMy WebLinkAbout2011-06-27 - Public Hearing - Shoreline Master Program Update City of Tukwila NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN pursuant to RCW 90.58.080 that the Tukwila City Council will hold a public hearing on Monday, June 27, 2011 beginning at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers at Tukwila City Hall, 6200 Southcenter Blvd., Tukwila, WA to consider the following:: CASE NUMBER: L06 -088 CITY OF TUKWILA SHORELINE MASTER PROGRAM UPDATE E08 -013 ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW FILE NUMBER: L 10 -015 APPLICANT: City of Tukwila REQUEST: Approve Tukwila Planning Commission recommendations for Comprehensive Plan and zoning text changes for the Manufacturing /Industrial Center (MIC) LOCATION: Manufacturing /Industrial Center in the general vicinity of E. Marginal Way South/Duwamish River between S. 126 on the south and S. 82 on the north. REQUEST: Amend ordinances adopting the 2009 update of the City's Shoreline Master Program and implementing regulations to address corrections required by the Washington State Department of Ecology. Goals, Policies and Regulations are being modified for areas and properties within and along the Green/Duwamish River in the City of Tukwila. LOCATION: Property within 200 feet of the Green/Duwamish River. All river and trail users and property owners within 200 feet of the City shoreline and potential fiiture shoreline will be affected. APPLICANT: City of Tukwila All interested persons are invited to be present to voice approval, disapproval, or opinions on this issue. For those unable to attend in person, you may submit written testimony to the City Clerk's office until 5:00 p.m. on the day of the public hearing. Information on this issue may be obtained at the Department of Community Development, Planning Division, at 206- 431 -3670. The City encourages you to notify your neighbors and other persons you believe would be affected by the above issue. Tukwila City Hall is wheelchair accessible.
