On 10 -2 -16 at approximately 2040hrs King County Deputies and Tukwila Police officers
responded to reports of a subject that had been stabbed at the Link Light Rail Station at 3651
Southcenter Blvd. A King County Deputy arrived immediately following the incident and rendered aid
to the victim who was a 29 year -old Friday Harbor man. The victim was transported to Harborview
Medical Center with life threatening injuries but despite lifesaving efforts was later pronounced
deceased.
The suspect, a 30 year -old male, was located a short distance away from the location where
he was identified by witnesses and taken into custody. The relationship between the suspect and
victim is not known at this time.
