Construct a new , street (S. 156th) to create new access from SR-181 to an existing parcel of and north of the new street. It will also improve access to the area near Exit 1 northbound from I -405. Studies indicate this will facilitate traffic movement in the area and especially to and from Longacres racetrack. 2. What are the alternative means of accomplishing these objectives? There are no alternate means of creating new access. However. the existing Nelson Place access could be utilized as a primary rather than secondary access from the site area. 3. Please compare the alternative means and indicate the preferred course of action: Using Nelson Place would Increase traffic congestion on S. 158th and the intersection of S. 158th and SR -181. It would also require the reconstruction of Nelson Place at this time which would cause access problems for existing business.
