Extension of the Christensen Greenbelt pedestrian /bicycle trail. Project
includes approximately 7,980 lineal feet of asphalt trail, signage, bollards,
retaining walls and landscaping.

well as the extent of the land area affected by any environmental im-
pacts, including any other information needed to give an accurate under-
standing of the environmental setting of the proposal):
The project is located along the west bank of the Green River between
S. 180th and the river. An existing bridge located south of S. 180th
provides access across the river. The project continues along the east
side of the river to the City of Tukwila south boundary line.(approx 1.5 miles)

Recreational opportunities within the existing Christensen Greenbelt Park
may be expanded at a later date.

Yes, future agreements between King County and the City of Tukwila may
require dike improvements. The proposed trail is located on top of this
dike. The flood control permit will cover this work.

impervious asphalt surface. Minimal grading will
occur to provide a level sub base for the trail.
The existing elevation of the dike will be raised in
