E. SUPPLEMENTAL SHEET FOR ALL PROJECT AND NON PROJECT
PROPOSALS
The objectives and the alternative means of reaching the
objectives for a proposal will be helpful in reviewing the
aforegoing items of the Environmental Checklist. This
information provides a general overall perspective of the
proposed action in the context of the environmental infor-
mation provided and the submitted plans, documents, suppor-
tive information, studies, etc.
1. What are the objective(s) of the proposal?
The objectives of the proposed rezoning is to change
the •Kinq County zoning designation to a comparable
Tukwila zoning classification for newly annexed
property.
2. What are the alternative means of accomplishing these
objectives? The alternatives would be to change the
Kinq County zoning to Tukwila Zoning designations other
than R1 7.2
3. Please compare the alternative means and indicate the
preferred course of action: To change the Kinq County
inning to a Tukwila zoning classification other than Ri 7.2
wnuld create nonconforming situations for some of the
existing structures on the subject property or would
increase the density standards for the area. Increasing
density standards would not be in accordance with the
comprehensive land use plan and would not be compatible
with existing neighborhood characteristics.
