SEPA EPIC-309-86 - BERKLEY STRUCTURES - EBASCO BUILDING AND PARKING LOT
EBASCO, INC. TENANT & SITE IMPROVEMENTS BUILDING MODIFICATIONS AND NEW PARKING 401 ANDOVER PARK EAST EPIC 309 -86 • • CEC. Commercial Electrical Contractors, Inc. P.O. Box 9847, Seattle, Washington 98109 208 - 281 -8700 Contractor's License Na ❑ 1620 February 11, 1986 Berkley Structures, Inc. 201 Elliott Avenue West Seattle, Washington Attention: Phil Burke Re: Sun Sportswear Tenant Improvements 401 Tukwilla Parkway Dear Phil: In regards to your questions about possible contaminates that will enter the drainage and sewage system of the Sun Sportswear facility, to date we've found that to this point no measurable amounts of polutants or contaminants will enter the Metro system. Presently in their existing facility, in the screen washout area, certain amounts of bicromates do enter the system through their washout process; however, in complying with requests from O.S.H.A. inspectors, this process will be self - contained. The existance of a drain in the screen washout area in the new facility is only because of the existance of water and possible splashing and is to take care of that contingency. No washout process will be emptied down the drain. The other process which involves mineral spirits is also a self- contained system and does not go down the drain. If you have any other questions regarding this, please feel free to call. BW /shl Sincerely, cLL £' - GC-r Bob Wily Consulting Engineer S', C G cti NN WAC 197 -11 -970 DETERMINATION OF NONSIGNIFICANCE Description of Proposal Tenant and Site Improvements Proponent Berkley Structures Location of Proposal, including street address, if any 401 Tukwila Parkway Lead Agency: City of Tukwila File No. EPIC - 309 -86 The lead agency for this proposal has determined that it does not\h.ave a probable significant adverse impact on the environment.
