E. SUPPLEMENTAL SHEET FOR ALL PROJECT AND NON PROJECT
PROPOSALS
The objectives and the alternative means of reaching the
objectives for a proposal will be helpful in reviewing the
aforegoing items of the Environmental Checklist. This
information provides a general overall perspective of the
proposed action in the context of the environmental infor-
mation provided and the submitted plans, documents, suppor-
tive information, studies, etc.
1. What are the ob'ectiv(s) of the proposal? The goal
of the annexa 'cion is to add41,:c.abutri.ny pcitc:el u
park land to the existing city area. By doing
this the city can enforce its park codes, and
develop a park using City Block Grant funds
within our own city limit. The alternative of
not annexing this site into the city is not good
as the land cannot be developed as a city. operated
park.
2. What are the alternative means of accomplishing these
objectives? The R.C.W., that allows cities to annex
park property into its own boundaries is the best
method of annexing this particulars parcel. Other
methods would be less appropriate and more timely.
3. Please compare the alternative means and indicate the
preferred course of action: The best method to annex
the city owned parcel is by the proposed method,
it is less time consummatory direct. No other
alternative is us acceptable.
