Nature and Brief Description of the Proposal (including but not limited to its size, general design elements, and other factors that will give an accurate understanding of its scope and nature): The placement of approximately 272 acres containinL a population of 906 people into an "unclassified", zoning 'classification for a temporary period of time until each parcel of property is evaluated on its own merits. • 7. Location of- Proposal (describe the physical setting of the proposal, as well as the extent of the land area affected by any environmental im- pacts, including any'other information needed to give an accurate under- standing of the environmental setting of the proposal):, The area is bordered on the north by the DuwamiskRiver. on the west by Pacific Hwy. 99, on the south by South 124th Street and on the east by the City of Tukwila and the Duwamish River. Elevations range from approximately 30 to 200 feet above sea level. The water level::of the Duwamish is affected by the tides. Prior to the construction of dikes the Duwamish River cut back and forth across the valley floor. The present land use pattern is a combination of-single family residences, light (over 8.
