The Powerwave antennas may not physically fit inside the steeple with the proposed antennas added. These antennas may be swapped with any other smaller antenna model that will fit in the existing space. Swapped antennas shall be limited to a weight of 75 lbs. each. The final loading used in this analysis is the combination of the Proposed and Existing to Remain Toads shown in the above tables. Existing Structure - The following materials and specifications were considered in the structural analysis of the rooftop. The existing building is a 2 story, wood framed, with a roof height of 30ft AGL. All assumption MUST be checked. If any assumption is found to be inaccurate PTS Engineering shall be immediately notified so that the appropriate changes can be made to this report. Assumptions are as follow: 1. The building and its foundations were constructed as shown in the original design documents, previous structural analysis report, mapping report, photos, and /or other documents. 2. The building, platform, and its foundations are in good condition with no corrosion, damage or fatiguing which could cause a reduced capacity in any member. 3. The building meets the current code design loads and parameters. 4. The assumptions as indicated in section 1. 3 Required Modifications The existing tie beam at the base of the steeple is not attached to resist uplift forces. PTS recommends the following: • Provide blocking up to the top chords of the trusses to anchor the beam. 4 Conclusion A general review of the entire structure was also completed to verify any effects that the additional loadings would have on other elements of the structure as well as the entire structure itself. The additional loadings were found to add less than 5% to the gravity load carrying elements and less than 10% to the structures lateral load carrying elements and are deemed adequate in accordance with sections 3403.3 and 3403.4 of the 2009 I.B.C. To the best of our knowledge and belief, the existing structure with the proposed loading as listed in section 1 and fully installed modifications as listed in section 4 is in satisfactory compliance with the requirements of the specifications, codes and agencies having jurisdiction over the work. 5 Design Comments Sealed structural design drawings by a registered professional engineer of PTS are required for the antenna installation to the structure.
