NW Roof Management shall cover and protect landscaping, sidewalks, public entry ways and areas as needed. 2. NW Roof Management shall carefully remove roof tile and store to reuse. 3. NW Roof Management shall carefully remove batten strips a store to reuse. 4. NW Roof Management shall remove # 30 pound roofing felt down to wood decking. 5. Roof decking replacement shall be above and beyond roof replacement cost at $ 35.00 per- sheet. Price includes removing and replacing with like type materials. All additional wood work shall be at $ 35.00 per hr plus material unless otherwise noted on change order form and agreed upon by all parties. Roof Installation 1. NW Roof Management shall clean, prep and inspect roof deck surface prior to applying roof. underlayment. 2. NW Roof Management shall install a roof CertainTeed Winterguard (ice & water shield) or a material comparable in quality. 3. NW Roof Management shall reinstall batten strips per Tile manufactures speciations. 4. NW Roof Management shall reinstall tile, replacing all broke or damaged tile matching color of existing as closely as possible. Roof Flashing Details I. Northwest Roof Management shall place two layers of winter guard (ice and water shield) directly over roof decking, at pipe penetrations, under chimney pan flashing, at skylights and at roof to wall transitions. Job Site Clean -up 1. NW Roof Management shall clean grounds and roof gutters of all job related roof debris and properly dispose of. Payment Terms 1. Frank Smith, Landry's, Inc. agrees to make a deposit of $ 6,500.00 once project is started to cover material and dump fee costs, made out to Northwest Roof Management. 2. Frank Smith, Landry's, Inc. agrees to pay Northwest Roof Management the balance of $10500.00 upon completion. • • GENERAL CONDITIONS 1. Scope of Work. Northwest Roof Management shall conduct roofing work at the location specified above in accordance with the proposal set forth above. Northwest Roof Management shall provide all labor, materials, equipment and tools necessary for the completion thereof, all in accordance with the terms and conditions set forth herein. Northwest Roof Management shall complete all work in a workmanlike fashion and, unless otherwise noted, in accordance with standard roofing practices. 2. Change Orders. Any alteration or deviation from the above specifications involving extra costs, will be executed only upon a written change order from the Customer, and will become an extra charge over and above the price set forth herein. 3. Reroof Pricing The cost for the reroof as specified in proposal section includes all labor, material, equipment, insurance, permits, supervision and sales tax for the lump sum of $ 17,000.00 4. Time for Performance. The work shall be scheduled after the customer accepts this proposal, and will be substantially completed within a reasonable amount of time, weather permitting. Delays due to inclement weather, or any other cause beyond the reasonable control of Northwest Roof Management, shall extend the time for completion. Northwest Roof Management's decision is final as to whether its crews can work in any weather conditions. The response time of an Emergency reroof will be as soon as possible or within 24 hours. A non - emergency reroof that is needed will be within 3 days of signed proposal date. 5. Payment Terms: Payment will be due upon completion. Northwest Roof Management may withdraw its offer to provide materials and services without penalty or recourse by customer if proposal is not accepted within 30 days. By signing this proposal, customer expressly acknowledges that it is understood that Northwest Roof Management will protect its lien rights in the event that payment is not received in the time restraints established. 6. Insurance. Northwest Roof Management's workers are covered by Worker's Compensation Insurance, and Northwest Roof Management carries One Million Dollars in comprehensive liability insurance. Proof of such coverage is available upon request. 7. Special Indemnity. Northwest Roof Management shall not be held financially responsible for any damage to ceilings, contents, flooring, or anything else due to water intrusion or job progress. We also cannot be held financially responsible for additional repairs required due to leaking walls, windows, chimneys, air conditioning units, roof mounted apparatus, plumbing, clogged drains, etc. 8. Clean up. Northwest Roof Management shall keep the work reasonably neat and free of rubbish and debris. Upon completion of the work, Northwest Roof Management shall remove rubbish and debris, and its tools and equipment, and shall leave the work area in a "broom clean" condition. 9. Excusable Delays.
