or abandoned for a period of 180 days from the last inspection.
PERMIT CONDITIONS:

2: No changes shall be made to the approved plans unless approved by the design professional in responsible charge and the
Building Official.
3: All permits, inspection records, and approved plans shall be at the job site and available to the inspectors prior to
start of any construction. These documents shall be maintained and made available until final inspection approval is
granted.
4: When special inspection is required, either the owner or the registered design professional in responsible charge,
shall employ a special inspection agency and notify the Building Official of the appointment prior to the first
building inspection. The special inspector shall furnish inspection reports to the Building Official in a timely manner.
5: A final report documenting required special inspections and correction of any discrepancies noted in the inspections
shall be submitted to the Building Official. The final inspection report shall be prepared by the approved special
inspection agency and shall be submitted to the Building Official prior to and as a condition of final inspection
approval.

SHOP DRAWINGS SHALL ALSO BE SUBMITTED TO THE CITY OF TUKWILA BUILDING DEPARTMENT IN ACCORDANCE WITH BUILDING DEPARTMENT
REQUIREMENTS AT THE TIME OF CONSTRUCTION.
11. SHOP DRAWING REVIEW: DIMENSIONS AND QUANTITIES ARE NOT REVIEWED BY THE ENGINEER OF RECORD, AND THEREFORE MUST BE
VERIFIED BY THE CONTRACTOR. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL REVIEW AND STAMP DRAWINGS PRIOR TO REVIEW BY ENGINEER OF RECORD.
SUBMITTALS SHALL INCLUDE A REPRODUCIBLE AND ONE COPY. THE REPRODUCIBLE SHALL BE MARKED AND RETURNED.
SHOP DRAWING SUBMITTALS PROCESSED BY THE ENGINEER ARE NOT CHANGE ORDERS. THE PURPOSE OF SHOP DRAWING SUBMITTALS BY
THE CONTRACTOR IS TO DEMONSTRATE TO THE ENGINEER THAT THE CONTRACTOR UNDERSTANDS THE DESIGN CONCEPT BY INDICATING WHICH
MATERIAL IS INTENDED TO BE FURNISHED AND INSTALLED AND BY DETAILING THE INTENDED FABRICATION AND INSTALLATION METHODS. IF
DEVIATIONS, DISCREPANCIES, OR CONFLICTS BETWEEN SHOP DRAWING SUBMITTALS AND THE CONTRACT DOCUMENTS ARE DISCOVERED EITHER

REQUIREMENTS OR " HIT -RE- 500 -SD" AS MANUFACTURED BY HILTI CORPORATION AND INSTALLED IN STRICT ACCORDANCE WITH ICC -ES

15. CONTRACTOR SHALL CHECK FOR DRY ROT, SPLITTING, CHECKING AND EXISTING DAMAGE AT ALL EXISTING WOOD FRAMING MEMBERS IN AREA
OF WORK. ALL ROT SHALL BE REMOVED AND DAMAGED MEMBERS SHALL BE REPLACED OR REPAIRED AS DIRECTED BY THE STRUCTURAL

16. IF HOLE IN CONCRETE WALL SHOULD COMPLETELY PENETRATE THE WALL, THE CONTRACTOR IS RESPONSIBLE FOR FILLING, PATCHING AND
PAINTING THE HOLE TO MATCH EXISTING CONDITIONS.

17. STRUCTURAL STEEL DESIGN, FABRICATION, AND ERECTION SHALL BE BASED ON THE LATEST EDITIONS OF THE A.I.S.C. SPECIFICATIONS AND

1. SPECIFICATION FOR STRUCTURAL STEEL BUILDINGS - ALLOWABLE STRESS AND PLASTIC DESIGN, OR LOAD AND RESISTANCE FACTOR DESIGN
SPECIFICATION FOR STRUCTURAL STEEL BUILDINGS.
2. CODE OF STANDARD PRACTICE FOR STEEL BUILDINGS AND BRIDGES, ADOPTED MARCH 18, 2005.
IN REFERENCE TO SECTIONS 3.1.2 AND 4.4.1, THE CONTRACT DOCUMENTS (DESIGN DRAWINGS) SHOW COMPLETE CONNECTION DETAILS
FOR ALL MEMBERS EXCEPT THOSE NOTED TO BE DESIGN -BUILD ITEMS. ALTERNATE CONNECTION DETAILS REQUESTED BY THE
