I spoke with Bob and Jim. It has been confirmed that the items listed are items which should be taken care of by the building owner and not the sign contractor. He has been working with the Planning Department to see about getting the owner to take care of the mentioned corrections as well as other issues we have on that site. The corrections were for: • Replace broken "winstaffinq" switch, drill weep holes • Remove abandoned sign wiring, components, cables • Parapet lighting has been rendered unsafe. Repair. None of these are anything that we took the electrical permit out on. When we talked to the inspector he told our guys it was a reminder to the owner to get these things taken care of. The sign installation what we permitted was signed off. So the owner of the property needs to be tagged and not our permit. Please call me with any questions. Per the International Building Code, International Mechanical Code, Uniform Plumbing Code and/or the National Electric Code, every permit issued by the Building Division under the provisions of these codes shall expire by limitation and become null and void if the building or work authorized by such permit has not begun within 180 days from the issuance date of such permit, or if the building or work authorized by such permit is suspended or abandoned at any time after the work has begun for a period of 180 days.
