The additional wattage is allowed only if the merchandise display luminaires comply with all of the following: (a) Located on ceiling- mounted track or directly on or recessed into the ceiling itself (not on the wall). • (b) Adjustable in both the horizontal and vertical axes (vertical axis only is acceptable for fluorescent and other fixtures with two points of track attachment). This additional lighting power is allowed only if the lighting is actually installed and automatically controlled, separately from the general lighting, to be tumed off during nonbusiness hours.
