COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE MEETING MINUTES
Council President Ekberg called the Committee of The Whole
Meeting to order and led the audience in the Pledge of Allegiance.

HAGGERTON.
The Council agreed to excuse Councilmember Carter.

Attorney; STEVE LANCASTER, DCD Director
None.
The Council reviewed the appeal (Case No. L95 -0027; L95 -0031;
L95 -0030) of Jackie Dempere of the decision of the Director of the
Department of Community Development and the Planning
Commission on a Conditional Use Permit application. Jack Pace,
Senior Planner, stated that it was recommended by staff that the
appeal be accepted only in part. Some of the SEPA issues and a
portion of the Tree Ordinance are not subject to appeal due to
reasons outlined in a memo from Jack Pace dated August 9, 1995.
After a brief discussion, the Council agreed to schedule September
18, 1995 as the date to hold a public hearing and consider the
appeal.

1995, 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. as the time to hold the Budget Workshop.
The workshop will be held in City Hall Council Chambers.
Councilmembers reported on various subcommittees issues.
