Consequently cancellation and refund cannot be granted. Additionally, the expiration of EL12 -0824 occurred February 26, 2013 which was before this request was submitted. As stated in my email from April 10, 2013, unless you are able to provide a record of our receiving this request (email, fax receipt, etc.) a refund cannot be granted. Per the International Building Code, International Mechanical Code, Uniform Plumbing Code and /or the National Electric Code, every permit issued by the Building Division under the provisions of these codes shall expire by limitation and become null and void if the building or work authorized by such permit has not begun within 180 days from the issuance date of such permit, or if the building or work authorized by such permit is suspended or abandoned at any time after the work has begun for a period of 180 days.
