KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS, that the STATE OF WASHINGTON, Grantor, for
and in consideration of TWO MILLION AND NO /100THS DOLLARS ($2,000,000.00), hereby
conveys and quitclaims unto KING COUNTY, a political subdivision of the State of
Washington, Grantee, all right, title, and interest under the jurisdiction of the Department of
Transportation, in and to the following described real property situated King County, State of
Washington:
That portion of the West half of the Southwest quarter of Section 35,
Township 23 North, Range 4 East, W, M. lying Westerly of a line drawn
parallel with and 700 feet Easterly measured at right angles to the Lw line
survey of SR 5 (PSH No. 1), Jct. S.S.H. No. 5 -A to So. 178`h St. and
Westerly of a line drawn parallel with and 700 feet Easterly measured at
right angles to the Lw line survey of SR 5 (PSH No. 1), South 188th St.
Interchange;
Except that portion lying Northerly of a line drawn at right angles from
said Lw line survey at Highway Engineers Station LW 2455+00.0;

Except that portion lying Southerly of a line drawn at right angles from
said LW line survey from Highway Engineers Station LW 2445 +33.3;
Except that portion lying Westerly of a line drawn parallel with and 215
feet Easterly of the said L" survey lines.
The grantees herein, their heirs, successors or assigns, shall have no right of ingress and
egress to, from, and between SR 5 and the lands herein described, nor shall the grantees herein,
their heirs, successors or assigns be entitled to compensation for any loss of light, view and air
occasioned by the location, construction, maintenance or operation of said highway.
The specific details concerning all of which maybe found on Sheet 2 of that certain plan
entitled SR 5 (PSH 1) South 188`h St. Interchange, bearing date of approval April 12, 1966 and
SR 5 (PSH 1) Jct. S.S.H. No. 5 -A to So. 178th St. bearing date of approval March 24, 1959 now
of record and on file in the Office of the Secretary of Transportation at Olympia, Washington,
bearing date of approval January 11, 1980.

Subject to all existing encumbrances, including easements, restrictions and reservations,
The grantee will construct a retaining wall and plant landscaping as agreed and submitted
per the Bow Lake Recycling and Transfer Station Site Preparation Contract, R.W. Beck, Inc.,
Engineers, Project Number 11- 00839 - 20001, CD) No. 00 -3161.
The grantee as part consideration herein does hereby agree to comply with all civil rights
and anti - discrimination requirements of Chapter 49.60 RCW as to the lands herein described.
The lands herein described are not required for State highway purposes and are conveyed
pursuant to the provisions of RCW 47.12.063.
