SPONSOR'S Seattle Sounders FC will be playing in the MLS Cup on December 10th. City staff is working
SUMINIARY with the Sounders to hopefully put on two events for fans. To fund these events, including
staff overtime, staff is proposing to use lodging tax funds. The use of lodging tax funds
requires an approval of the request by both the Lodging Tax Advisory (LTAC) Committee
and the City Council. The LTAC considered the request on Monday, 12/5. The LTAC
application will be provided to the City Council at the Council meeting for a motion.
