Council President Kruller called the meeting to order.
Overview of Process
DCD Director Jack Pace described the update process, noting that the material may require a second
work session. Discussion on the Tukwila International Boulevard, Housing, Residential
Neighborhoods, Vision, Introduction, Map Legend, and Glossary is scheduled for the August 24, 2015
Committee of the Whole.
Review of Tukwila International Boulevard and Housing Elements
DCD Planning staff provided the Council with overviews of the Tukwila International Boulevard and
Housing draft elements of the Comprehensive Plan as recommended by the Planning Commission.
Councilmembers asked clarifying questions only, which were tracked on the Comprehensive Plan
Council question and response matrix.
The City Council requested an additional work session to continue discussion on the Residential
Neighborhoods element.

Neighborhoods" notebook previously provided.
