HomeMy WebLinkAbout2011-07-11 - Public Hearing - Comprehensive Plan and Zoning Map Amendments City of u wi a NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Tukwila City Council will hold a public hearing on Monday, July 11, 2011 beginning at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers at Tukwila City Hall, 6200 Southcenter Blvd., Tukwila, to consider the following: RECOMMENDED COMPREHENSIVE PLAN AND ZONING MAP AMENDMENTS FILE NUMBERS: L10 -015, PL10 -015 APPLICANT: City of Tukwila REQUEST: Amend Comprehensive Plan and zoning map boundary for the Manufacturing /Industrial Center (MIC) from Manufacturing /Industrial Center -Light (MIC /L) to Low Density Residential (LDR) and add public recreation overlay on 8.4 acres (Tax 41023049057) LOCATION: 3800 S. 115 St., Tukwila, WA FILE NUMBERS: L11 -001, PLII -001 APPLICANT: Mikel Hansen/Sabey Corporation REQUEST: Amend Comprehensive Plan designation from Manufacturing Industrial Center /Heavy (MIC /H) to Light Industrial (LI) on .62 acres (Tax 40423049184) for firture development LOCATION: 10200 E. Marginal Way., S., Tukwila, WA. FILE NUMBERS: L11 -002, PL11 -001 APPLICANT: Mikel Hansen/Sabey Corporation REQUEST: Amend zoning from Manufacturing Industrial Center /Heavy (MIC /H) to Light Industrial (LI) on .62 acres (Tax 40423049184) for firture development LOCATION: 10200 E. Marginal Way., S., Tukwila, WA. Persons wishing to comment on the above cases may do so by written statement or by appearing at the public hearing. Information on the above may be obtained at the Tukwila Planning Division at 206 -431- 3670. The City encourages you to notify your neighbors and other persons you believe would have an interest in this topic. The purpose of this hearing is to provide public continents to the Tukwila City Council to assist them in deciding whether to approve, deny or revise recommendations from the Tukwila Planning Commission regarding changes to the Comprehensive Plan and zoning maps. All interested persons are invited to be present to voice approval, disapproval, or opinions on this issue. For those unable to attend in person, you may submit written testimony to the City Clerk's office until 5:00 p.m. on the day of the meeting. Tukwila City Hall is wheelchair accessible.
