Thank you for passing Moving Washington, a much needed transportation bill, vital for Washington' s economy.
Please consider transportation funding for local jurisdictions, particularly as gas fax revenue reductions continue.
Projections for gas tax revenue show a 45% decrease over the next ten years.
upport the effort being undertaken by the Washington Transportation Commis-
sion to research a pilot road usage charge program that will test different technologies and
ways to implement this new, flexible revenue source. Road Usage Charges have the poten-
tial to replace the gas tax and will generate revenues based on where roads are used, and
deliver these revenues to local jurisdictions to maintain and preserve existing roadway and
bridge infrastructure.

and North Pierce Counties, the Ports of Seattle & Tacoma, three transit agencies, 721,300 peo-
ple, over 329,000 jobs in Legislative Districts: 5,11,27,30,31,33,34,37, 43 & 47.
SCATBd holds regular meetings on the third Tuesday of the month at 9:00 a.m., SeaTac City Hall.
