HomeMy WebLinkAbout2017-05-08 - Public Hearing - Amend Multi-Family Residential Property Tax Exemption OrdinanceCITY OF TUKWILA NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Tukwila City Council will hold a public hearing on Monday, May 8, 2017 beginning at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers at Tukwila City Hall, 6200 Southcenter Blvd., Tukwila, WA to consider the following: AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON, AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 2462 §3 AND §8, AS CODIFIED AT TUKWILA MUNICIPAL CODE CHAPTER 3.90, "MULTI- FAMILY RESIDENTIAL PROPERTY TAX EXEMPTION," TO EXTEND THE DEADLINE TO APPLY FOR THE PROPERTY TAX EXEMPTION; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; AND ESTABLISHING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. CASE NUMBER: L17 -0021 - Proposed amendment to Tukwila Municipal Code Chapter 3.90 regarding Multi - Family Property Tax Exemption. The proposed amendment will extend the deadline to apply for the multifamily property tax exemption for projects in the portion of the Tukwila Urban Center — Transit Oriented Development District west of the Green River until December 31, 2017 Information on the above case may be obtained at the Planning Division, 206 433 -7162. All interested persons are invited to be present to voice approval, disapproval, or opinions on this issue. For those unable to attend in person, you may submit written testimony to the City Clerk's office until 5:00 p.m. on the day of the meeting. Tukwila City Hall is wheelchair accessible.
