The completed foundation system has been placed so as to comply with our written recommendations contained in our report "Certi- ficate No. 782 -49 dated March 17, 1978. The foundation providing bearing consists of 20 inch diameter concrete piling in augered holes 12 inches below the base of the grade beam and as such has reached firm bearing well to the West of the minimum of 10 feet behind the slope.
