- Consists of provinces
- 76 provinces (as of 2014)
- Each province is led by a governor
- Each province is divided into districts, led by
district chiefs
- Governors, district chiefs and district clerks
are appointed by the central government

Local Government:
- Consists of cities (50,000 citizens), towns
(10,000 citizens) and subdistrict municipalities
- In each city municipality, the executive branch
is led by a mayor, and the legislative branch is
led by a municipal council. Both are directly
elected by local citizens.

Thailand Anti - Corruption Coordination Center
We are the center for coordination of administration and
procedures which are related to the United Nations
Convention against Corruption of 2003 and other anti-
corruption treaties and international agreements to
which Thailand has become a Party. TACC has the
powers to proceed and coordinate domestically grid
internationally with corruption cases, and to recover
assets through international collaboration networks.
